Holy Week

Jesus didn’t just go to the cross for our sins. He went to bring us life. Abundant life. And I believe that includes healing on this side of heaven. Not just someday, but here. Now.

This is the day to repent, to realign, to bring things back into right standing. Because Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law, He came to fulfill it. That is why, with His final breath, He said, “It is finished.”

Matthew tells us that Jesus withdrew to Galilee, to the region of Naphtali, fulfilling what was spoken in Isaiah, that a people walking in darkness would see a great light (Matthew 4:13–15; Isaiah 9:1–2).

She had just watched Jesus raise her brother from the dead. This wasn’t secondhand information or a story she heard—she saw Him call a dead man out of a grave.

Isaiah 11:2 tells us that wisdom and understanding rest upon the shoot of Jesse—Jesus. So what Issachar carried in part, Jesus carried in fullness.

Jesus enters the temple complex, and we see an emotion rise in Him that feels different...there's a shift.

They took palm branches and went out to meet Him. They did this after they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. But do you know where they were when they heard this?
